Field Scabious (Knautia Arvensis)

An upright, branched perennial with an overwintering basal rosette of lobed leaves. Bluish-violet flowers with pink anthers are supported on long stalks. Flowering from June until October, this plant is suited to sunny conditions, grasslands and chalk down land.
