Sheep’s Sorrel (Rumex Acetosella)

This perennial is also referred to as red sorrel, field sorrel and sour weed. The male has small, yellowish-green flowers, whilst the female’s flowers are red with arrow shaped leaves. This plant flowers from May to August and suits dry, sandy, well-drained acidic soils.
