Wood Avens (Geum Urbanum)

A sometimes hairy, perennial plant with compound leaves divided into 3-6 pairs. The 5 petalled yellow flowers are borne singly on drooping stalks. Also known as Herb Bennet, this plant flowers between May & September and it’s natural habitat is mostly hedgerows, woodlands and shaded areas.
