Easy to grow annual crop. Sometimes referred to as Common Flax. Beautiful blue flowers that turn to seed. Very attractive to partridges in an open canopy. Very cost effective. Does well in most soil conditions but isn?t particularly winter-hardy. High seed rate that can be used for oil production. Sow between April and June.
