Red campion (Silene Diocia) is a hairy perennial with bright pink flowers and notched petals. Male and female flowers are found on different plants, with the male flower being slightly smaller. Seeds are produced in flask-like capsules and the flowering period is from March to October. It’s habitat is in rich soils, usually hedgerows and woodland rides and in shaded areas. – 5g

Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum Vulgare) A sometimes hairy perennial with spoon shaped leaves and a flower that sits on a long stem. The outer florets are all white and the disc is yellow. It flowers from July to September and suits areas with lots of sunlight, grasslands and favours neutral or calcareous soils. -5g
