Vetch – Common

Annual crop. Usually used for spring sowings as not very winter-hardy. Ideal to fix large quantities of Nitrogen. Improves soil structure through it’s root system. Very fast to establish. A good weed suppressant. Very high content levels of protein. Sow in spring.
